I have loved art ever since I could remember. Maybe it started when my grandmother would sketch on a piece of cloth and give it to me to stitch at the age of 5 or 6. Then she introduced me to water colors.
Ever since then, I have pursued everything and anything creative. In addition to design and marketing, I love cooking, table settings, and everything to do with decor and creating an inviting environment.

For over twenty years I have been working in the field of design in a variety of settings. I have created designs and illustrations for newspaper editorial, designed for advertising agencies, taught design at my alma mater, ran my own business, and worked as a Design Director for a good cause, Easter Seals San Francisco Bay Area.

Currently, I reside and freelance in Durango, CO. It would be my pleasure to assist you in realizing your dreams, whether it be for business or home. Let it start with design.

“Working with Tracy Heckel at JanSport was a true pleasure and she was both a terrific Graphic Designer and world-class member of a global Brand Marketing team. Tracy worked effectively and productively through geographic challenges because she worked out of our Appleton, Wisconsin, Collegiate Apparel offices, while the balance of Brand Marketing worked out of our California office, and it was her commitment to her work that made this organizational set-up possible. Her ability to partner and problem solve was terrific and she had and still has the respect from all at JanSport for her graphic design ability and talent .”

Ann Daw, JanSport
Global Vice President of Marketing
